Nếu bạn có nhiều dữ liệu quan trọng trong máy tính mà lại sợ người khác “vọc” chúng trong khi bạn vắng mặt thì Hide Folders XP chính là giải pháp bảo mật cho bạn đấy nhé!

Chương trình này sử dụng rất dễ. Trước tiên, bạn chọn Folder/ Add to list/ Add any folder trên thanh Menu của chương trình. Sau đó chọn folder (thư mục) mình muốn cho biến mất rồi ấn OK và bấm vào biểu tượng hình con mắt của chương trình (nếu trên biểu tượng này xuất hiện một gạch chéo đỏ thì bạn đã thành công rồi đấy). Ngoài ra, để đề phòng không cho người lạ “đột nhập” vào phần mềm này, bạn nên chỉ định password (mật khẩu) bảo vệ bằng cách chọn Tools/ Change Password... Bạn có thể đặt Hotkey (phím truy cập nhanh) khi vào Tools/ Settings, chọn thẻ Hotkey và tự thiết lập theo ý của bạn.

Có một vấn đề được đặt ra là: Lỡ kẻ đột nhập Uninstall (gỡ bỏ) “Hide Fordel XP” thì sao? Rất may là nhà sản xuất phần mềm đã có cách khắc phục. Bạn chọn “Tools/ Settings...”, rồi trong thẻ “General”, chọn tính năng “Ask Password when Uninstall”.

Không thì bạn có thể chuyển sang thẻ Advanced Options và đánh dấu tùy chọn Hide Uninstall Information. Bạn cũng nên đánh dấu cả tùy chọn Hide folders in Window Safe Mode (giấu các folder trong chế độ Safe Mode của Windows) để đề phòng kẻ gian đột nhập vào bằng chế độ Safe Mode của Windows.

Lưu ý: Nếu folder đã ẩn thì người khác không thể xóa nó được. Nhưng bạn cũng phải rất cẩn thận trong việc đặt và nhớ password, vì nếu không, chính bạn cũng không thể truy cập vào dữ liệu của mình.
