TurboFTP là một chương trình client FTP vững chắc (tích hợp FTP qua SSL/TLS và SFTP qua SSH2) cho Windows 9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003. Nó cho phép bạn chuyển tải file (upload hoặc download) với tốc độ cực nhanh giữa máy tính của bạn và hầu như bất cứ server FTP nào đặc biệt dễ dàng và khi cần thiết, với công nghệ mã hoá công nghiệp mạnh mẽ. Folder Synchronizer (Đồng bộ thư mục) cung cấp kết quả so sánh rõ ràng, thẳng thắn và giúp bạn đồng bộ file và các đường dẫn thư mục giữa các thư mục local và remote với cố gắng tối thiểu. Sự chuyển tải file được hẹn giờ và tự động đồng bộ hoá thư mục dễ dàng được thực hiện với Task Scheduler (Định giờ công việc). Bạn có thể nhận một email thông báo cho mỗi công việc được hoàn thành hoặc gặp lỗi trong quá trình. Nó tự động cố hồi phục lại việc chuyển tải bị đứt đoạn, gọi lại và kết nối lại sau khi bị đứt kết nối.

Đặc điểm chính của TurboFTP:

• Sync Service Module (môđun dịch vụ đồng bộ hoá). Chạy những công việc được hẹn giờ trong hệ thống NT. Tích hợp sự phụ thuộc của công việc, nhiều công việc hẹn giờ cùng một lúc và kết nối dialup khác nhau, riêng cho các site. Chỵa chương trình trước và sau một công việc hẹn giờ.
• Tính bảo mật. Sự truyền tải file FTP được bảo vệ bằng SSL(Secure Socket Layer , chạy ngầm hoặc công khai) và TLS(Transport Layer Security). Tích hợp SFTP qua SSH2. Tích hợp OTP S/Key (MD4, MD5) mã hoá password.
• Schedule File Transfer (Hẹn giờ chuyển tải file). Hẹn giờ chuyển tải file và tự động đồng bộ hoá thư mục. Gửi email báo cáo.
• Tự động upload file mới trong thư mục. Giám sát như 1 thư mục local và upload bất cứ file mới nào được thêm vào thư mục.
• Đồng bộ hoá thư mục. Cho phép so sánh rõ ràng giữa thư mục local và cấu trúc đường dẫn FTP, giúp bạn đồng bộ hoá, backup file và đường dẫn với sự cố gắng tối thiểu.
• Ngắt quãng tốt và bảo vệ. Thực hiện lại bằng Auto Dial, Smart Keep Alive, Auto Reconnect và phục hồi việc chuyển tải file bị ngắt quãng.
• Tích hợp Firewall/Proxy. Thông qua được firewall và proxy server gồm HTTP Proxy, SOCKS 4/4a/5.
• Tích hợp file kích thước lớn. Có thể dung lượng trên 2Gb với định dạng FAT32 và file trên 4Gb với định dạng NTFS.
• Trực quan. Connection Wizard cho người tuyệt đối chưa biết gì! Một cú kick chuột có thể tới được bất cứ thư mục nào với bookmark. Có giúp đỡ.

• Ghi đè hộp thoại Rules.
• Thêm tuỳ chọn trong mục đồng bộ hoá để di chuyển file đã upload hoặc download.
• Thêm hộp thoại cho phép lọc hoặc không lọc trong mục đồng bộ hoá.
• Thay đổi hiệu lực thời gian dừng trong thiết lập mục đồng bộ hoá.
• Thêm tuỳ chọn trong mục đồng bộ hoá để thực hiện công việc ngoài nào đó đối với mỗi file đã download.
• Thêm tuỳ chọn trong mục đồng bộ hoá để đợi đến khi công việc ngoài hoàn thành nếu nó được kích hoạt.
• Tuỳ chọn để tắt/bật chức năng ghi tin thông báo đặc biệt tới NT Event Log.
• Thư viện OpenSSL được update tới 0.9.8d.
• UploadWizard và TurboFTP SDK dll được update.
• Thêm nút Default vào [Options | Advanced | Text File Masks].
• Ghi đè file cuối cùng được chuyển tải đầy đủ trong lúc phục hồi chuyển tải file sau khi bị timeout.
