XChat là chương trình chat bằng giao thức IRC(Internet Relay Chat) dành cho cả Linux và Windows. Bạn có thể tham gia vào nhiều phòng chat cùng 1 lúc, nói chuyện với cả phòng hoặc với bất kì ai bạn muốn (tất nhiên ng đó phải ol). Giao thức chuyển file cũng dc hỗ trợ ở chương trình này.

XChat is an IRC chat program for both Linux and Windows. It allows you to join multiple IRC channels (chat rooms) at the same time, talk publicly, private one-on-one conversations etc. Even file transfers are possible.

XChat is an IRC (chat) program for Windows and UNIX (Linux/BSD) operating systems. I.R.C. is Internet Relay Chat, see http://irchelp.org for more information about IRC in general. XChat runs on most BSD and POSIX compliant operating systems, and has been reported to work on, at least:
